If you had been reading the blog, specialpeople, you would understand what the graphs refer to and what anomalies are. (Oh, but the "Anomalies" thread was on the board you got deleted wasn't it? Shame!) But just for yourselves I will recap.
The green line in the first graph above is the Briffa tree ring proxy temperature fairytale truncated at 1961 because it supposedly departed at that point from the modern instrumental record.
The other coloured lines are other proxies for temperature, too, alongside the supposed "actual" instrumental record, red line, (which has also been called into question because of undue upward fiddling with the raw GHCN data). As you can see, the blue one, at least, also points down. In fact nearly ALL proxy temp data point down. It is only Briffa's magic tree of Yamal that keeps the ghost of the hockeystick alive at all.
The Michael Mann "hockeystick" has been comprehensively debunked both on statistical and on historical grounds. Have you seen the nice world map showing a summary of all the places where the Mediaeval Warm Period is documented?
I don't know why you warmists have such a convenient blind spot for history.
The green line in the other graph above shows what the Briffa tree ring proxy data actually showed before it was chopped short to "hide the decline", as the inconvenient fact was referred to in the climategate emails.
Clearly tree rings are NOT a proxy for temperature, not NOW, not ever. They should be junked. But too many people at CRU have too much invested in them to kill them off humanely. So they PRETEND to believe they are actually telling us something about past temperature. They are. They are saying wooden thermometers are rubbish!
