The Greenhouse Conspiracy This film was made in 1990. It gives a very clear picture of the problems with the greenhouse gas, urban heat island effects, sea-level etc. This film is still the clearest possible statement of criticisms of the AGW scenario. I recommend it to you if you find yourself confused in the face of the massive public opinion campaign that his been used to assault the public's understanding of the debate. So go ahead and sit back for an hour and let the arguments sink in. NOTHING has substantially changed since 1990, except the level of the hysteria. video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5949034802461518010&hl=en#

Would you buy a used car from this peevish-faced knave? 0.gvt0.com/ThumbnailServer2?app=vss&contentid=3de74070231c60c5&offsetms=970000&itag=w160&hl=en&sigh=UgdAWrKCVHJx81IbE_Gf-lPi-9wI wouldn't. Having been a leading light of the Coming Ice-Age alarmism in the 1970's Stephen Schneider rapidly changed horses when the big money started flowing in the other direction. Why does he have such a resentful expression on his face? I simply HATE humourless types! But I guess you have to be humourless and obsessive to say stuff like this: "we need to get some broadbased support, to capture the public's imagination. That, of course, entails getting loads of media coverage. So we have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements, and make little mention of any doubts we might have. This 'double ethical bind' we frequently find ourselves in cannot be solved by any formula. Each of us has to decide what the right balance is between being effective and being honest. " I bet he regrets having comitted that particularly "honest" statement to print.

Channel 4 has been the only UK tv channel to present a balanced picture re AGW. The BBC has certainly fallen down on the job by siding with the Establishment climatechange "consensus".
