As you are probably aware I don't get around as much in cyberspace as everyone else on this board. I only post here and, until recently, on the BBC Science board. I did not know Lazarus had form for this spamming behaviour elsewhere. But I did know him as Spir-an back in 2007 on TCIY and WoM.
I recognised his inimitable written style from his very first climate postings before I actually twigged who he was. But when I did that just made everything a whole lot worse because the creep had repeatedly accused me, and another who also posts here, of sockpuppetry, Multiple Personality Disorder, psychopathy, sadism, etc etc - all the usual trick-cyclist mumbo jumbo. On the BBC Science Board climate threads he merely confined his psychiatric repertoire to "Confirmation bias".
It pays to get your defense in early with nutcases like this! Forewarned on the BBC board was indeed forearmed HERE.
Jean likes to pretend her pet (Mr Havelock Lazarus Sprain) is an innocent victim. We know better.
Thank Goddess someone had their eye on the ball down here because our current mod, Jean Hartrick, can't be relied upon to spot a hawk from a handsaw or a troll from a good faith poster whatever the wind direction!

It was not set up to be a closed blog, nor is it, nor did I ever suspect it needed to be, because it has never been under a concerted attack supported by the board's mod.
Anyway, Havelock did not want to "debate with me" he simply wanted to put up links to AGW websites. He had failed to win arguments on the BBC board so he thought he would try a little fly-posting here.
I have no idea why jean calls me "disruptive". I simply say what I think. I'm not a needler and I don't haul grudges around cyberspace from one board to another. That is not my idea of "fun" as jean calls it.
My pleasures are more cerebral. i really love reading and writing and arguing about the climate. I think the AGW hype is the biggest scam and hoax of all time. This view in itself is grossly offensive to many no matter how it may be argued. They think holding the view is of itself justification for harassment and deletions etc. One poor fool, Joe K, thinks it is reason to set up a cyberhovel where he can pillory "trolls" like me and invite other idiots to "browbeat" me. Very nice!

I would have thought any member of such a small board as ours would be entitled to participate in proposals for reforming it.
Especially such a stout defender of free speech and the rights of poor supposedly "silenced" Havelock.

Not in the least. My blog is part of the Board. Any board member is entitled to comment about board matters.
But making up stuff like aqua did about my censoring or silencing anyone is obviously fatuous. I do not have "powers". I was asked to be a mod and I refused (on this board as on other ones). I don't believe in censorship. I have a merely honorary title of Global Warming Consultant - and that was a bit of fun on bets' part.
I don't know who you mean by my very own "stout defender" sinistral. I can't keep up with your spats across cyberspace. I post here, and nowhere else since I was banned from the beeb. I don't hawk enmities around the boards like a lot do. It's not "fun" to me.
I exercise my brain in constructive not destructive ways.
