folk wittering on. but twitter can be very good - lulz a minute with a serious overtone or two. meantime here is the Juice Rap News. www.thejuicemedia.com Juice Rap News: Episode 15 - Big Brother is WWWatching You. September 2012 rocks around with some crucial developments in the ongoing struggle over the future of the internet. Will it remain the one open frequency where humanity can bypass filters and barriers; or become the greatest spying machine ever imagined? The future is being decided as we type. Across Oceania, States have been erecting and installing measures to legalise the watching, tracking and storage of data of party-members and proles alike. If they proceed, will this place ever be the same? Join our plucky host Robert Foster as he conducts an incisive analysis of the situation at hand. Joining him are newly appointed Thought Police General at the Pentopticon, Darth O'Brien Baxter, and a surprisingly lucid Terence Winston Moonseed. Once again, in the midst of this Grand Human Experiment, we are forced to ask tough questions about our future. Will it involve a free internet which will continue to revolutionise the way the world communicates with itself? Or is our picture of the future a Boot stamping on this Human InterFace forever?

I was reminded of the original as I listened to a new production of the play (or docudrama) on Radio 4 on Saturday afternoon.
What a song! What a voice!

I've just noticed all the YouTube videos have disappeared (from my computer screen anyway). Is this affecting anyone else? Maybe I have accidentally "disabled" something.

Thanks pippa. I'll have to consult my resident computer geek tonight when he comes home. No need! They have all come back! That's a mystery.

remember remember the fifth of november... how fantastic - a one off! my hero the subculture graphic novelist/artist Alan Moore (who's authored and illustrated graphic novels for decades; nowadays more familiarly known for 'v for vendetta' the film which btw he distanced himself from during its making. originally v for vendetta was serialised in the comic 2000AD, and then published as a graphic novel.) has released just in time for Guy Fawkes a single in support of occupy. do you remember marchesa, it was alan moore along with his partner melinda gebbie that produced 'lost girls', a trilogy of graphic novels depicting the sexual exploits of the adult famous fictional characters alice, wendy and dorothy that you generously offered a copy you'd acquired to aubrey. i was incredibly envious of aubrey's good fortune. no hard feelings tho' as i knew he'd treasure it. anyway the song's here: two links with info. one with info and soundcloud the other with the with lyrics and more info: www.clashmusic.com/news/alan-moore-releases-singlewww.nme.com/news/various-artists/66995

"Moore has visited the Occupy London Stock Exchange camp by St Paul's in London, where he said of the Occupy movement: "A tidal wave cannot be said to have succeeded or failed. All that it can be said to have done is changed things... I would say to critics - what are you doing about the current situation. If you are happy with it, what the hell is wrong with you?"
To mark Guy Fawkes' night in the UK, Anonymous are tonight (November 5) planning to march on The Houses Of Parliament in London in a recreation of the climactic final scene of V For Vendetta.
Around 5,000 people, many dressed as V, are expected to descend on Westminster at 8pm tonight as part of Anonymous' Operation Vendetta."
will msm be reporting on it i wonder...

will msm be reporting on it i wonder... The Independent had a very small article - really just a paragraph - saying that a few hundred took part. I won't read any of the Murdoch press or the Torygraph or the Grauniad or the Daily Wail or any of the Red Tops (see I'm very narrow minded really) so perhaps somebody else will report back here what they had to say? No mention on the BBCs Front Page Does anyone know actually how many people took part? If it wasn't as large as had been hoped then that could effect whether MSM bothered to cover it.

Serialised in Warrior, actually. Zenith was in 2000AD, though, along with, obviously, Judge Dredd.

it's coming up for easter which originally is a pagan festival and the hare a pagan symbol... listen... on yonders hill there sits a hare full of worry, grief and care....
and oh hello jings they were there singing ho brave boys high ho
and the huntsman he came riding by all on that poor hare he cast his eye and oh the (something - i cant make out) allowed his dogs singing oh brave boys hi-ho
and now she's gone from hill to hill all on that that best dog to try his skill that would kill that poor hare that never done ill singing ho brave boys high-ho
and now she's turned and turned again hi ho hi ho merrily as she trips over the plain and may she live to run again singing ho brave boys hi-hothe link underneath the utube is the better quality sound but i like the ambience of the utube samleesong.bandcamp.com/track/on-yonder-hill
