I used to enjoy this programme on a Thursday evening.
Is it just me, or has Mr Dimbleby single handed ruined the programme? His constant interruptions and judgemental questioning have in my view spoilt what was a decent and informative programme. Very few are allowed to give more than a few brief sentences before his often bad taste comments so are unable to develop any points properly.
I accept that politicians if given free rein will always spout party propaganda, but surely the rest of the panel are there to prevent that, not the chairman, other than in extremis.

It's only ever any good if the 5th guest is interesting.
Janet Street-Porter or Germain Greer are my favourites.
Sometimes Starkey is worth a gander.
The one with Nick Griffin and Bonnie Greer was excellent entertainment.
Hugh Grant was fabulous.

Wouldn't it be fun if we could chose our own guests!
Rupert Murdoch? Nah, doubt he would get in alive, and if he did doubt he would leave quite as immaculate as he arrived.
Boris is always entertaining and so much sharper than his demeanor
Al Murray. Funny and by no means stupid
Dara O'briain. Very bright bunny.
And a few others I will think of when the mind wanders...

PS. The one with Nick Griffin was by no means entertaining. Certainly not for him.
And why LMH are you a guest? Banned. (You didn't comment on the dropped stitches on someones twin set did you!) or is it not you and someone committing identity fraud?
