Well, that seems to have silenced the opposition! And we're still waiting for visitor to give us the benefit of her insights into david appell's graph of GISS data.
They resent being unable to get on to the Science Board but when it comes to actually discussing climate data they haven't a clue!
Stay here, and I will occasionally drop by to try to shed a little light on your mental darkness regarding climate (and demography, of course).

Don't be so ridiculous MR. The reason people have not replied is they are all dead from boredom.
You exhibit every possible trait in man that free thinking rational and intelligent people try to avoid.
That and calling for people to be banned of course.

These people do sooo resent being unable to get on to the Science Board but when it comes to actually discussing climate data they haven't a clue! But on the other hand look how avidly they pile in to a nice juicy personality knocking ruckus. Oh, ladies, you are sooo predictable in your tastes. This board is perfect for you! Stay on it, and I will occasionally drop by to try to shed a little light on your mental darkness regarding climate (and demography, of course). Isn't "personality knocking" exactly what you are doing in this very post? Who went and made you officer in charge of Hypocrisy?

They opened the thread, jonjel, not me.
They are in fact VERY interested in what happens on the Science Board, though less so, obviously, in the discussion of SCIENCE matters! It's aggro that gets them going and irritation that the Science Board will not tolerate it or them.

It's just the girlie aggro that gets them going and irritation that the Science Board will not tolerate it or them. Unsurprising that you fit in so seemlessly here - they just LURVE anyone who likes taking potshots at me. More patronising insults. Feel better now?

Here's one for Visitor, who was daft enough to introduce the product of a certain David Appell (journalist) to demonstrate a ten year moving average of an anomaly of a... oh I forget, but it was very abstruse! If David Appell Were A SportswriterPosted on January 5, 2012 by S teven Goddard "Newcastle did not beat Manchester United today, because the long term trend is for Manchester United to beat Newcastle."Ken replies "All very well, but the consensus is that computer models, using seasonally adjusted data, show that within 6 - 7 years Newcastle WILL consistently beat Manchester United. The smoothed data (based on net results) that takes into account penalties and changes to the offside rule - and increasing flooding of the pitch slowing the velocity of the ball whilst simultaneously increasing the football boot footprint in the soft grass - simply cannot be denied. Goddard, who has a vested interest in promoting cricket, shouldn't be making these unfounded, non-peer reviewed assertions and you folks should stop giving credence to unelected, unaccountable Manchester United activists. Just how green can you get believing these sportists. As far as Goddard is concerned, this is a massive own goal."
See several more send-ups of Appel's style of climate prophesy here bishophill.squarespace.com/blog/2012/1/5/quote-of-the-day.html

"Don't like it up 'em", jean?
I had never investigated the etymology just assumed it meant a bayonet up the bum.
How do YOU parse it?
