Findings? They are not researching anything. They are jobsworths licking the hand that feeds. The Met Office disposes of immense patronage and is embeddd in a system of government and Research Council funding which amounts to an alliance of the like-minded. But since they are disposing of the tax-payers cash in the spesh-approved direction I suppose that's OK.
No climate research apart from that in support of AGW is getting financed any more. What IS being done is being done under adverse conditions. Nevertheless the news of it IS getting out over the internet so that is redressing the balance somewhat and the dominant paradigm is getting real scrutiny at last.
The Times headline is wrong. Top scientists are NOT rallying to the support of UEA. Rather, their support is being SOLICITED by one of the prime movers in the scam.
