I note that the article didn't mention why this woman had to make this journey.
The Met Office,local authorities,police....in fact just about everyone had been issuing warnings for several hours in advance advising people not to travel unless absolutely necessary.
Was her journey absolutely necessary? If not then she is an idiot. If not then she put the lives of herself,her unborn baby and young child at risk.
Even if her journey was necessary there were quite literally hundreds of other motorists in the same situation.
The rescue services are working long hours in dreadful conditions......they can't be everywhere.
At least she has got home......while typing this I've heard that there are still people stuck on the A3.
