www.climategate.com/acclaimed-climategate-analyst-points-to-whistleblower-rather-than-hacker#more-3336Speculation over the identity of the whistle blower continues. Could it be UEA's Freedom of Information Officer himself who had alrready told Jones not to delete emails? Jones December 9, 2008 … I did get an email from the FOI person here early yesterday to tell me I shouldn’t be deleting emails—unless this was “normal” deleting to keep emails manageable!” Joe D'Aleo suggests that "this intriguing email may indicate that the FOI officer—who will generally have system-level rights to read all emails, as part of their job—may have been monitoring Jones‘s emails, including the one above where he admitted deleting emails. This may lead to the identity of the Climategate whistle-blower, for those who continue to doubt their existence.” We'll see! The worse the better!

Or was it Dr Paul Dennis of CRU, who very properly refused to sign the letter of support for Dr Jones with the remark that there is no "consensus science".
Will we ever know whodunnit?
