Rapper Snoop Dogg has humiliated ministers by winning a three-year legal battle to overturn a ban on him entering the U.K.
In an embarrassing defeat for the Home Office, the American hip hop star successfully claimed the ban infringed his human right to freedom of expression.
It means that Snoop - who has a string of criminal convictions and has been tried for murder - could be free to return to Britain as early as Thursday.
The Government's unsuccessful legal battle - which cost the UK taxpayer in excess of £100,000 - has been criticised as 'an appalling waste of public money' by the rapper's lawyer.
And the fact that an immigration tribunal has ruled in the musician's favour could impact on Britain's ability to keep so-called 'undesirables' out of the country.

This appalling man, with a string of convictions and an approach to women that has influenced thousands through his lyrics is not anyone I would want to be walking around the UK if I could stop it. Mind you I would have a blanket ban on criminals being allowed to enter, which may damage our economy drastically, given that we geernally welcome them. If they are rich. Or politically desireable.

well i personally am more concerned about our lying scumbag politicians, and those who don't feel the need to uphold the laws they either make or carry out. the hypocricy of money grabbing authority figures that hold themselves up as virtuous are the ones who deserve more attention for their despicable behaviour in my book.

Most of those crimes he was either cleared of, or were for possession of or suspicion of possession of drugs, which as any fule kno, etc. (I mean, the war on drugs is stupid and pointless.)
I liked the way, when he wanted to be taken more seriously, he dropped the Doggy from his name. Snoop Dogg makes him sound very solid bottomed and reliable.
