Quite alright, thanks, aqua. I think these pictures express my views re this supposedly "endangered" species, perfectly ( and my whimsical sense of humour).
They are not endangered and they do not need to be "adopted"!
WWF is engaged in daylight robbery of the gullible.

If you say so.
But, as one of your long-time but occasionally wavering admirers, I ask again:
Are you QUITE alright, MR?

I have overdosed on climate in the last few weeks, aqua and I do feel a bit manic tonight! It is addictive! But very fascinating when you see the evidence piling up and you become more and more certain you've made a correct call on the issues.
I know you may not agree with sceptical views of AGW. But the more I learn, the more I know they are sound and that we are beholding the biggest pseudo-scientific scam ever. It is almost incomprehensible how it has been permitted to take hold! My mind boggles over it.
The only comfort one can draw is that there seem to be cracks appearing in the edifice as more and more are exposed to sceptical views. I'm trying to do my bit, because I think it is important that world gets back on track after this massive, decades long distraction.
I'm soo pleased you still a wavering admirer, aqua! You and Harry, my plasterer, are a great comfort! He "wavers" quite a bit too, it's the drink! xxxx

"Adopt an animal with WWF from as little as £3.00 a month and help protect your selected species and their habitat. Choose from 10 animals which are perfect as a Charity Gift as they come with a gift pack and cuddly toy!" "Act now. Adopt now. Adopt a Svalbard polar bear. With your continual support we can do more to help the polar bear in its struggle for survival." Er, no! But you'll make a wealthy NGO even richer! - Rank commercialism cashing in on the naive and ignorant. I think you are quite right MR - Self serving organisations pushing an agenda to keep themselves in funds ...... However I find your reluctance to engage Havelock puzzling - the man ( or woman ! ) wants a discussion give them one ! You seem to have the MR blinkers on again - you should assume this poster is not Spir-an or whoever and just argue your ( good ) case . Please !

However I find your reluctance to engage Havelock puzzling I don't. Its rather hard to engage in scientific debate when all you do is copy from blogs, and pisspoor ones at that.

Isn't that Harry's job? Assuming that he's the same plasterer that MR told us she was sh@gging. Unless she's got two on the go! ROTFL

Oh, another little sock puppet pops up! What's your real name, dearie? Why so coy?
P.S.
I think the hysterical temperament revealed in the embittered rants above could well be calmed by a little regular rolling on the floor doing something else, monsoon.
Try it, sometime. I find it VERY therapeutic.

A new blog has opened devoted to Polar Bear Science, polarbearscience.com/for people who want to know about them rather than exploit them for propaganda purposes. Here's an interesting article showing what a veritable polar bear holocaust existed throughout the arctic by fur traders and whalers until Russia, the first nation to do so, banned polar bear hunting in 1956. The slaughter of polar bears that rarely gets mentioned (ca. 1890-1930)polarbearscience.com/2012/09/20/the-slaughter-of-polar-bears-that-rarely-gets-mentioned-ca-1890-1930/#more-414If you think polar bears were just hunted by Inuit for subsistence, think again. It was commercial and large scale until 1970. Polar bear numbers are only just recovering.

WWF - Adopt a Polar Bear!
Not effing likely! Cold blooded killers!
Polars are mammals, and therefore warm blooded. Havelock, come on, you always knew 'Mary' was going to follow up by 'shocking' us with what she imagined to be gruesome pics which showed us the 'real' nature of polar bears. It's relevant because a supposed emotional but illogical attachment to cuddly looking creatures is of a oneness with believing that the sky is falling in. Hoe hum.
