PROF ROBERT WATSON*, the only scientist willing to defend CRU, says the UEA scientists are "honorable and world class" and that the data series of CRU are consistent with NASA's and NOA’s and not manipulated in “any negative sense”. He has been repeating the same mantra in every interview he has participated in. (He is also a head of Department at UEA/Tyndall, the same Unit that houses Mike Hulme of post-normal science, fame.)
Prof Robert Watson of admits there was "a little bit of manipulation of the data" but claims that does not invalidate the findings.
