I've just had my account deleted again on pointsofviewtoo.freforums.net, for saying this, in a thread about Extinction Rebellion's wreath laying on the HoC page...
Were you really not aware of this incident? Because even if it had somehow escaped your attention, that comment sounds rather disrespectful to a member, particularly coming from the admininstrator (if admin are bound by the same rules they enforce). I'm sure plenty of people knew, and Cali4ster's post is evidence of that.
Miranda has a new rule that prohibits people from even being critical about her or her site on other forums, under pain of deletion, but she can't delete me twice...
Except that she did, and also a whole bunch of other people, for the 'violation' of not posting in 2019, after making the board a place where having an opinion that differed from hers was frowned upon. The exception was Lee, a former BBC moderator who hadn't posted that year, and the thread where I comment on this (a thread I created in the first place, four years ago) has had those comments removed from the last page, too - Hello to you, and you and you and you...
It's a wonder that the board still limps on, and sad that nothing really good ever came out of the loss of the BBC boards. People just couldn't seem to accept that a modicum of free speech was possible, or even desirable.
