Especially when they are muslim, eh?
Same old, same old political correctness as we see in Rotherham except that there it took the form of disregarding the victims of and witnesses to the sexual exploitation perpetrated by Pakistani abusers. You don't want to rock the pecarious multi-cultural boat, do you, guest? Thanks for demonstrating that this mindset still exists despite the damning mass of accumulating evidence.

Especially when they are muslim, eh? Well of course I didn't say that; you did. And just for the record I do not believe it either. That's why (in case you were wondering) I mentioned The Yorkshire Sutcliffe. I will spell it out for you in big letters as you are obviously a bit hard of understanding. ALL RAPISTS PAEDOS AND MURDERERS SHOULD BE TREATED EQUALLY UNDER THE LAW WHATEVER THEIR STUPID RELIGION. EVEN THE ONES THAT WERE TOLD TO DO IT BY GOD. (YOUR peter AND YOUR jimmy!)

My god this idiot Spesh will never learn. In the face of masses of evidence of the perniciousness of British multicuturalism he/she still insists on self-righteous 'non-racist' prattling

If someone commits a crime - for whatever reason - they are ultimately responsible.
However in this case, as in some others in the headlines, there is an element of why they weren't stopped sooner?
The argument being put forward is because of the race of the perpetrators the police/social services etc. didn't want to rock the boat.
But what about the victims? Reading some of the articles (some of which I've posted), the police/social services seemed to be believe that it was normal for this "class" of girl to be having sex, drinking and taking drugs, even though they were underage. Did they fail to investigate because of the "class" of victim?
There seems to be an acceptance in society that underage girls get pregnant, I would like to know how many girls under the age of consent get pregnant each year, and compare that with the number of prosecutions each year of underage sex.

This is a very good point indeed, but it will be ignored (as it has been) by those who want to blame Multiculturalism and/or Political Correctness for everything that went wrong here.

Another point - how many people knew something or thought they knew something, but just didn't believe it? Is there such a thing as "group denial"? And because of this "denial" they failed to see what was going on?

Multicultural political correctness is a LARGE part of what went wrong in Rotherham and elsewhere, jean. Society abounds with people who are only too ready to call others "racist" for even MENTIONING race. I had posts regularly deleted from the BBC boards for simply mentioning race, probably by spesh who is still peddling the same garbage here! For example, I had a post removed for recounting that my parents (1950s and 1960s) called African/West Indians "coloured". This was the then polite way of referring to these races. DELETED - courtesy of some zealous "anti-racist". It mattered not that the NAACP uses the word in its title to this day, striving hard NOT to succumb to modern political correctness, I dare say. My, my, how things have changed since 2007 when I made my first post about the Radio 4 prog, "Molly to Misbah", on the BBC boards. I was really ahead of the game, back then in being willing to run the gauntlet of the professional anti-racists who tried hard to rule the roost back then. People are much better educated these days about the behaviour sanctioned in the self-selfgregated muslim communities of the uK. I feel vindicated.
Aqua had to do some REAL SOUL-SEARCHING (according to him) to decide whether or not I was a racist for casual use of the word "Yank" instead of American, for using "darkie" in the context of a discussion about Ms/Mizz in Gone With The Wind and for refusing to condemn the use of the word golliwog. Poor little aqua - such an enormous brain and so little common sense, alas, and STILL, alas, just as prone to throwing personal accusations around because I DARE to mention the personal circumstances that he himself casually revealed !
So when people in public bodies are described as being afraid of being called racist for mentioning the race/religion of perpetrators their fears are perfectly well founded. I should think that political correctness is particularly rife in the Labour Party - after all, they do perceive themselves as standing up for the underdog and everyone knows immigrants are the underdog by definition!
Let's not fall into the trap of thinking this is an exclusively North of England problem, either. It's happening afar south as Oxford and Bristol, I hear!

Indeed: An appalling mix of contempt for the white working class (whilst simultaneously championing ethnic minority working clases) and turning a blind eye to criminals because of their (non-white) race The usual inverted racism nicely melded into PC
